Dr. Marilyn Calvo’s passion is designing beautiful smiles and providing each and every one of her patients with a dental experience that exceeds their highest expectations. Since 1979, she has built a reputation based on uncompromising clinical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a warm, gentle demeanor. Dr. Calvo remains dedicated to giving her patients the highest quality care available, while focusing on both long-term health and aesthetics. Dr. Calvo graduated from the UCLA School of Dentistry in 1979. Since then, she has been on a constant quest to improve her knowledge and skills by pursuing expert training in all aspects of aesthetic, restorative and implant dentistry. Dr. Calvo is currently a Visiting Faculty Member at the world-famous Spear Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona and also a clinical instructor at Esthetic Professionals, a post-graduate teaching facility, where she teaches the best of cosmetic dentistry to dentists from around the world. Her work has been published in the highly acclaimed Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry, which sets the standard for the field of cosmetic dentistry. As a further testament to her commitment to excellence, she has also been elected to serve on the Board of Directors, the governing body of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Most recently, Dr. Calvo received coveted accreditation by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Worldwide, fewer than 260 dentists have qualified for this.
