Dr. Boen graduated from the prestigious Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry in 1994. Immediately upon graduation, the doctor’s keen interest in implants lead her to participate and complete the rigorous, year-long American Academy of Implant Dentistry implant Maxi Course. In 1996, as a way to compliment her implant and surgical procedures, Dr. Boen finished an intensive oral and intravenous sedation course. During these same two years, the doctor was also participating in Dr. Robert Quinn’s cosmetic study club. Then, in 1999, Dr. Boen distinguished herself professionally by being awarded a fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry. Since then, the doctor has traveled the country and internationally taking courses and lectures from the world’s most prominent doctors in their respective fields, including the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education, numerous orthodontic courses, and twice taking Dr. Bradley McAllister’s Implant Study Club. Dr. Boen is a general dentist that enjoys all aspects of dentistry. She has immense experience surgically placing and restoring dental implants, orthodontics (braces and invisalign), full-smile makeovers, extractions, root canal therapy, bone grafts, and more. She has even given her husband a smile makeover and is currently working on her son’s braces.
